Authors

Andrew Bernheimer is director of the Master of Architecture program and an assistant professor at Parsons The New School for Design. He is the principal of Bernheimer Architecture, based in Brooklyn. Bernheimer was a founding partner of the award-winning firm Della Valle Bernheimer, subject of the monograph Think/Make. He has lectured at major universities and institutions, and his work has been featured in numerous articles and publications.
Alan Organschi is a design principal and a partner at Gray Organschi Architecture, in New Haven, Connecticut. He is also a lecturer at the Yale School of Architecture and coordinates Yale’s first-year graduate housing studio. Organschi has lectured on architecture, technology, and the ecological impacts of building at universities and public and professional forums in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Andrew Waugh is a founding director of Waugh Thistleton Architects in London and a noted advocate for timber construction. In 2010 he was awarded the Presidentʼs Medal of the Royal Institute for British Architects for his research into high-rise buildings in timber. Waugh lectures across the world with a focus on sustainability, timber construction, and the future of architecture and has taught at universities in England, Australia, Mexico, and the United States.
